Family Owned and Operated Since 1980

King Painting and Wallpapering was founded in 1980 by Reuben King. Mr. King started out painting homes in Lancaster city. Much of the work was exterior painting for older homes and interior paint jobs on new construction. Reuben grew the business with a team of experienced painters and started adding other services such as wood staining, pressure washing, wallpapering, and prefinishing.

Today, the King team is still based in Lancaster County. However, we travel across the country providing our services for residential and commercial clients.

Tyler King is the next generation to carry on the King Painting legacy and tradition of quality craftsmanship. Tyler has demonstrated experience in management of the business with innovative products and techniques. He is actively leading The King Painting team and strives to stay on the cutting edge of the industry.

Leaders in Equine Facilities Painting

In the early 2000s, King began to specialize in equestrian facility painting and maintenance. As the team honed their skills in this area, word-of-mouth spread. Now we service horse barns and facilities across the nation.

This is a highly skilled field that requires extensive knowledge and skill. Our team has the experience necessary to keep your buildings in top shape no matter the material, although we have specialized knowledge of timber frame construction.
